Six deliberate design decisions connect certified protection with the support workers need through long days on hard ground.
For more than 20 years, our podiatry team kept seeing the same pattern: hard floors, long shifts and boots that protected the toe but did very little for the foot behind it.
PODIATRIST DESIGNED / AUSTRALIAN OWNEDThe included Ultra Soft orthotic is contoured beneath the arch and heel so the foot has a more stable base through a full shift. It can be replaced when it eventually wears.
BUILT-IN ORTHOTIC / REPLACEABLE INSOLEA rigid heel counter and embedded structural shank help control unwanted torsion through the middle of the boot.
STRUCTURAL SHANK / RIGID HEEL COUNTERThe fibreglass composite cap provides protection without steel weight or cold transfer, while the roomier 2E fit avoids crowding the forefoot.
AS 2210.3:2019 / 200J IMPACT / 15kN COMPRESSIONShock-absorbing EVA sits above a nitrile outsole tested for slip resistance, fuel-oil resistance and hot contact.

Ergonx is led by Kent Elliot, a practising Australian podiatrist with more than two decades across clinical foot care and footwear and orthotic development and manufacturing. The design brief came from seeing workers arrive at the clinic in pain — then making the products he wanted them to wear back to work.
