How Arch Support Changes the Work Done by Your Feet
An orthotic insole raises the arch and limits how far the foot rolls inward. In ErgonX work boots, that support is built into the boot rather than added as a separate flat liner.
Less Movement to Control
When the arch lowers less, the muscles, joints and ligaments do not have to work as hard to control each step. This matters because walking is repetitive and a worker may take around 10,000 steps in a day.
Support Across Repeated Steps
Repeated loading can contribute to stress, strain and general aching through the feet. Supporting and cushioning the arch aims to reduce that workload across the job site and leave the feet more comfortable at the end of the shift.
